COURSE FORMING.
3.1.
The course is formed on the plain place no less than 20 x 40 m. The whole length
of the course — 100-150 m, it consists of 16-25 obstacles.
3.2.
The course is formed by Chief judge. The course should be exceptional for every
competitions. The judge should form the course in a manner which allows the dog
to run the course fluently, without sudden turns and changes of direction.
3.3.
Chief judge has to give the scheme of the course to the organizators within 30
minutes before start. There should be special people who help the judge to form
the course.
3.4.
Forming course, the judge should take into consideration time which is needed to
rebuild a fallen obstacle if the dog should jump it several times during running
the course.
3.5.
Chief judge has to form the course so that the ring ribbon would not be too
close to the obstacles and not provoke the dog to leave the ring.
3.6.
Contact zone obstacles and also slalom can not be first or last on the course.
3.7.
The long jump and tire jump are situated in a way which allows the sportsman to
bring the dog to jump it directly.
3.8.
The course should be formed in a way when every next obstacle is situated about
3-7 m from the previous.
3.9.
The hurdles can form double and triple systems. Distance between hurdles of the
system is no more than 3,5 m, in the triple system the distance between hurdlea
should be all the same.
3.10.During
forming the course there can not be so that any obstacle is performed twice in
succession.
3.11.
Sequence and direction of obstacles performing is marked with tables situted
near obstacles.
3.12.
For start and finish are used two hurdles or the same hurdle for both or gates (distance
between poles 1 m 20 cm; poles height 1 m 20 cm).
3.13.
Chief judge organizes measuring of the course’s length. The total length
should be written down in the special sheet.
3.14.
Special courses are formed according to the description in competitions
reglaments.
3.15.
If there is such a possibility, a special place with 2-3 hurdles for the
warming-up can be marked. There should be a special judge who organizes
warming-up according to the reglament of the competitions.
