VI.
SCORING.
6.1.
Penalty points are scored for:
—
time showed on course (1 second — 1 penalty point);
—
faults and refusals during running — 5 penalty points for every violation;
—
disqualification on the agility course (150 penalty points) and jumping (100
penalty points).
6.2.
Violations committed during running may be qualified as:
6.2.1.
Fault;
6.2.2.
Refusal;
6.2.3.
Violations which cause disqualification.
6.3.
Faults:
6.3.1.
The sportsman touches the dog or the obstacle unintentionally.
6.3.2.
Fall of the obstacle/element of the obstacle at the moment or after jump as a
result of touching it by the dog (the touch itself does not entail penalty).
6.3.3.
Knocking down the pole on the long jump.
6.3.4.
The dog does not touches with at least one
paw the contact zone — on the descend or ascend ramp.
6.3.5.
Jumping off the teeter-totter before its descend ramp touches the ground (even
if the dog touches contact zone).
6.3.6.
Missing of the poles of weave pole (if the dog entered it correctly).
6.4.
If the dog commits the fault, it can not perform this obstacle once more to
improve the situation (except slalom and table — see 6.8. and 6.7.1.).
6.5.
Refusal:
6.5.1.
The dog stops in front of the obstacle (if it stops on the obstacle or on the
judge’s request, it is not counted). The stop — when all four legs of the
dog are on the ground simultaneously;
6.5.2.
Evasion from the performing of the obstascle by passing round (when the dog
crosses the imaginary front line of any obstacle except the table).
6.5.3.
When the dog runs under the hurdle’s bar;
6.5.4.
When the dog jumps bertween tiere and framework;
6.5.5.
Running on or between elements of the long jump, or jump past front or back pair
of poles or across this obstacle;
6.5.6.
Taking head or leg out of the tunnel or going out of it.
6.5.7.
Jumping on the A-Frame from the ground in a manner when forelegs do not touch
ascend ramp.
6.5.8.
Jumping on the horizontal bar of the dogwalk;
6.5.9.
Jumping off the dogwalk or A-Frame before the dog touches the descend ramp with
all four legs;
6.5.10.
Jumping off the teeter-totter before it starts to incline, jumping on the
teeter-totter on the descend ramp without touching the ascend one;
6.5.11.
Uncorrect enering the weeve poles.
6.6.
In the case of refusal the sportsman should make the dog to perform the obstacle
(the table is an exception, see 6.7.).
6.7.
Scoring on the table.
6.7.1.
Faults on the table:
6.7.1.1.
Leaving of the table before end of countdown. In this case the dog should jump
on the table again from any side and take the required position. Countdown stops
when the dog changes position before jumping off and continues when it takes the
required position again.
6.7.1.2.
Slipping the table and jumping off it from the opposite side. After this the dog
should jump on the table again from any side.
6.7.1.3.
If the dog continues running without correction of faults on the table, it
should be disqualified on this course.
6.7.2.
Refusal on the table — running under the table or crossing aside an imaginary
line which goes on the back board of the table. After this the dog can jump on
the table from any side and would not be disqualified for the wrong direction
performing.
6.8.
Scoring on the slalom has its features.
6.8.1.
Maximum penalty points of the slalom - 15, they are distributed so:
—
two possible refusals — 10 penalty points;
—
all faults during performing slalom — 5 penalty points.
6.8.2.
All violations which are not qualified as a refusal are scored as one fault. But
after every fault the sportsman has to return the dog to the place of mistake or
to the beginnig of slalom and make it to perform slalom correctly.
6.8.3.
The stop of the dog during performing slalom is not qualified as a refusal or a
fault.
6.8.4.
If the dog has not performes the slalom correctly and crosses the line of the
next obstacle or performs it, it should be disqualified on the course.
6.9.
For the violations which cause disqualification the sportsman can be:
—
disqualified only on the course (with getting points fot the other course);
—
disqualified on the competition (with annulment of all points).
6.9.1.
Disqualification on the course is caused by:
6.9.1.1.
Exceeding of the Course Time Limit;
6.9.1.2.
Three refusals;
6.9.1.3.
Performing (or attempt of performing) an obstacle in the wrong succession;
6.9.1.4.
Performing (or attampt of performing) the obstace in wrong direction;
6.9.1.5.
Performing (or attempt to perform) the next obstacle, if on the previous
obstacle there was a refusal or a fault which the dog has to correct (on the
table and slalom), and the was no correction.
6.9.1.6.
Dog returns on the start line after entering the starting range (except when is
requested by a judge).
6.9.1.7.
Intentional touch of a dog or an obstacle by the sportsman;
6.9.1.8.
Destruction of an obstacle by the dog or the sportsman before its performing;
6.9.1.9.
Passing through two or more gaps one after another in the wrong direction;
6.9.1.10.
Loose of control of the dog for more than 10 seconds;
6.9.1.11.
Leaving the ring by the dog as a result of loosing control of the dog.
6.9.1.12.
Defecating on the ring.
6.9.1.13.
Default to the start as a result of the dog’s/sportsman’s illness (it should
be fixed by the competition’s physician or veterinary.
6.9.2.
Disqualification on the competitions:
6.9.2.1.
Violation of pp.1.3., 1.5. of these Rules;
6.9.2.2.
Dog starts not from the ground or additional help is used to fix it on
the start.
6.9.2.3.
Performing of the obstacle or start/finish range by the sportsman;
6.9.2.4.
Acquintance of the dog with the course (presence of the dog on course out okf
performance);
6.9.2.5.
Dog’s aggression in the ring or
starting zone towards officials, sportsmen or dogs;
6.9.2.6.
Hindering to the performance of other participants;
6.9.2.7.
Absence of the sportsman on the start within 3 minutes from the call of a
starter (except cases of illness of dog or sportsman);
6.9.2.8.
Non-ethical behaviour of the sporstman (foul language and gestures, arguing with
the judge and so on);
6.9.2.9.
Rude or cruel treatment of the dog.
6.10.
After disqulification the participant should leave the ring immediately (except
cases when it is permitted by competition regulations). If he is continues
running, he should be disqualified on the competitions.
6.11.
In case of grave violation information about it is reported by the Chief judge
to the IFCS disciplinary committee to decide about disqualification for more
than this competition.
6.12.
Chief judge fixes violations and shows penalty in the next way:
6.12.1.
Fault — open palm up;
6.12.2.
Refusal — fist up;
6.12.3.
Disqualification — crossed arms high up.
VII.
WINNERS DETERMINATION.
7.1.
Winners in individual classification are detemined by the least sum of penalty
points got on all courses. Course points
are formed of penalty points for time of running and for faults and refusals.
7.2.
Scoring on the special courses is determined in competitions regulations.
7.3.
In the case of total points equality advantage has a sportsman with minority of
penalty points for the techical running. If these poinits are also equal,
advantage is given to the participant which has less penalty for the standard
course.
7.4.
Winners in team classification are determined by the least sum of penalty points
got by scoring members on both courses. System of team classification should be
determined be competitions regulations.
